An up-and-coming lyric baritone, STEPHEN MCCOOL returns to Peach State Opera singing his first production of La bohème. Many will remember Stephen as Belcore in Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love and Leporello in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, both with Peach State Opera. With the Capitol City Opera company, Stephen recently performed the Governor in Man of La Mancha by Mitch Leigh. This was his second role with Capitol City, the first being the hilarious Baron Mirko Zeta in The Merry Widow by Franz Lehar. When not on the mainstage, Stephen performs in community outreach productions, his favorite role being Osmin (the Bully) in The Billy Goats Gruff by John Davies.
