Recently praised for her “ripe soprano of robust luster,” soprano KRISTI BEINHAUER is gaining recognition for her vibrant tone and magnetic stage presence.  A dramatic soprano in the making, her high notes have been described as “thrilling” and she has been compared to a “young Birgit Nilsson.” Ms. Beinhauer is making her debut as Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with Peach State Opera.

During the 2014-2015 season Ms. Beinhauer made her debut as Suor Dolcina in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with the Savannah VOICE Festival during their premiere with the Savannah Music Festival. In 2013 and 2014, Ms. Beinhauer was a featured soloist with VOICExperience, performing scenes from Wagner’s Tannhäuser and Götterdämmerung as well as numerous recitals. During this season, Ms. Beinhauer made her debut with Opera Louisiane as Tisbe in La Cenerentola, praised for her “spot on comedic timing.” She is a skilled recitalist and sought after performer of concert works including Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem and Mozart’s Requiem. She has performed with Opera Tampa, Opera Louisiane, Opera Marigny, Florida State University Opera, Louisiana State University Opera, Louisiana Opera Outreach Program, The Thomasville Singers in Thomasville Georgia, and The American Guild of Organists. Ms. Beinhauer holds a Master of Music degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Music from Florida State University. She is a student of Stella Zambalis.
