ENGAGING YOUTH IN PERFORMANCE

In addition to the educational supplements outlined in the Enriching the Audience Experience page of this website, Peach State Opera offers opportunities to engage youth in the operatic art form.

With advance planning, PSO can incorporate local high school or college choral, theater, or dance ensembles into local performances of its touring productions. As part of its touring season, PSO also offers masterclasses, led by the PSO artistic staff, to help performing arts youth perfect their singer/actor performance skills.

PSO also offers daytime performances of its mainstage season for high school audiences. PSO can provide lesson plans for these special student performances.
