Mezzo soprano, Claire Cooper, grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is the recipient of a master of music from Peabody Institute where she studied under Elizabeth Futral. Ms. Cooper has most recently performed as Zweite Damme in a virtual production of Die Zauberflöte with Opera NEO, and the role of Elizabeth Bennet in the staged premiere of Kirke Mechem’s Pride and Prejudice with Peabody Opera Theatre. Other credits include the role of Sesto in Giulio Cesare with Chicago Summer Opera, and Toledo in Zach Redler’s The Falling and the Rising with Peabody Institute. Claire is thrilled to be participating in Operatizers with Peach State Opera this season!
